User Group Update

Maryann
Marnell called the meeting to order and welcomed all to the meeting.
The
agenda for tonight's meeting was distributed. We have 35 active members. 15 were present.
It
was decided that the users group will carry accidental and bodily
injury insurance coverage.
The
meeting in November is cancelled due to the Thanksgiving holiday.
It
was decided that December's meeting will be held on December 13, 2001 from
6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. at Bahama Breeze restaurant.

& 4i is a database navigation and data presentation tool.
Discoverer
4 & 4i displays information as folders and files.
There are 3
main types of folders.
1. Folders from database
Basic information from tables
2. Combination folders
Information from tables, views, and joins
3. Filter folders
Information from tables, views and joins
restricted
by where clauses.
Discoverer
4i is a portal web based system. It allows you to have a single
login, launch reports, and you do not need to install any additional
client software. |
