Presented by: Doug Felsenthal, Manager Oracle Strategic Alliances,
XIOtech/Seagate Corporation.
Doug runs the Oracle Seagate strategic relationship and provides strategic
direction and development
between the two companies. He has 30 years of enterprise computing
experience and for the last 12
years has worked in the area of eCommerce.
Xiotech is a wholly owned subsidiary of Seagate. XIOtech® develops
comprehensive network storage
solutions for business customers. Since Seagate acquired XIOtech in December
1999, many have realized
the benefits from the synergy between the two companies. The acquisition united
the leader in physical
drive technology with a pioneer in network storage to deliver enterprise-class
storage solutions.

User Group Update

Marnell called the meeting to order and welcomed all to the meeting.
The
agenda for tonight's meeting was distributed. We have 35 active members.
The
group is still in need of Insurance.
Shanon Carter will gather proposals and present to the officers for
decision.
The
meeting in November is cancelled due to the Thanksgiving holiday.
The possibility of the December meeting being an informal
networking session at a local restaurant was brought forth.
The officers will meet to discuss this possibility.

keynote address. She was
joined by Todd Lundy, Acct. Executive also of XIOtech/ Seagate Corporation

Architecture for Storage Area Network (SAN).
