December 10, 2019 For decades, Oracle DBAs have been learning how to tune their queries as well as the Oracle database itself. Now that the world is moving to the Cloud, is all of this knowledge obsolete? Join us this month as our resident Oracle ACE, Troy Ligon, talks us through this topic, what changes, and what remains the same. With over 35 years of IT experience (30 of that focused on Oracle technology), Troy has travelled extensively, serving a variety of customers primarily in the Public Sector, Manufacturing, and Financial Services sectors. Troy is currently an Enterprise Architect for InComm, Inc, providing database direction for the next generation of database services across the enterprise. In addition to being a long-standing leader in our local SOUG, Troy is an Oracle ACE and also serves on the Board of Directors of the IOUG.
