August 27, 2019 As more and more of our systems continue to increase their integration into the modern On-prem/Cloud Hybrid world, are your Disaster Recovery plans keeping pace? There are quite a few considerations as your computing landscape changes. This month, Gary Baird will be joining us from Datrium to share his thoughts and experience in this space along with some solutions for your consideration. Gary Baird is a Systems Engineer with Datrium. Although he has never worked as a Database Administrator, he has provided infrastructure and support for enterprise databases, including Oracle for more than two decades. Gary has been in the industry for over 35 years and brings a wealth of experience, including; mainframe, enterprise storage, virtualization, networking, computing, and cloud technology. Gary has worked in a wide range of roles from Presales Leadership to Enterprise Account Executive and back to a technical role in emerging technologies. Prior to Datrium, Gary's role at Dell EMC was Data Center Architect in the Global Technology Office, where his role was to help with the adoption of emerging technology at large scale, developing Private Cloud strategies that included connectivity to multiple Public Clouds, and integrating Cloud Native technology with legacy infrastructure For information on usual meeting locations and times as well as previous
