November 13, 2018 Our SOUG President and resident Oracle Ace, Troy Ligon, is just back from OpenWorld 2018 and will be bringing us up to speed on the latest news. For those of you who were unable to make it to San Francisco, Troy will do his best to bring the event to you, sharing not only the latest technology announcements but also a feel for the social side of the show. With over 35 years of IT experience (30 of that focused on Oracle technology), Troy has travelled extensively, serving a variety of customers primarily in the Public Sector, Manufacturing, and Financial Services sectors. Troy is currently a Solutions Architect, leading the Oracle DBA team for the Prepaid and Gift Card division of InComm. Troy also sits on InComm's Global Architecture team providing database direction for the next generation of database services across the enterprise. In addition to being a long-standing leader in our local SOUG, Troy is an Oracle ACE and also serves on the Board of Directors of the IOUG.
