Meeting Details:
December 05, 2017  Merry Christmas - In deferrence to the Holiday Season, December's meeting falls on the first Tuesday of the month. With our scheduled presenter waylaid with a production issue, our resident Oracle Ace, Troy Ligon, will stand in with a discussion of the Oracle Management Cloud. Armed with information hot off the presses from announcements at Open World, Troy will bring us up to speed on the next generation in Applications and Systems Management. With over 35 years of IT experience (30 of that focused on Oracle technology), Troy has travelled extensively, serving a variety of customers primarily in the Public Sector, Manufacturing, and Financial Services sectors. Troy is currently Director of Solutions Architecture at American Express, leading the Oracle DBA team for the Prepaid and Gift Card division. In addition to being a long-standing leader in our local SOUG, Troy is an Oracle ACE and also serves on the Board of Directors of the IOUG.
