October 24, 2017 We are going to have to delay our DynDNS session once again due to a speaker scheduling conflict, but not to worry. I have a local Oracle ACE Director, Venkata Ravi Kumar Yenugula (Ravi to his friends), who as offered to step in and present this month. Ravi will be bringing us up to speed on the latest updates to Oracle Real Application Clusters (RAC), with particular focus on the FlexASM and FlexCluster capabilities. FlexASM finally removes that one-to-one requirement for ASM to DB Instances in RAC. This can be a major resource savings and Ravi is going to tell us all about it. Venkata Ravi Kumar Yenugula is an Oracle ACE Director and Oracle Certified Master (OCM) with 20 years of experience in Banking, Financial Services and Insurance industries. He has published over 100 articles on Oracle Exadata, RAC, GoldenGate, and 12c and is a regular speaker at Oracle conferences around the country.
