MySQL for Oracle DBAs - Tony Darnell, Oracle

As organizations search for savings everywhere they can find them, increasingly they are turning to MySQL as an alternative to Oracle's Enterprise RDBMS. While initially restricted to the less mission critical systems, MySQL use is on the rise in more and more critical systems. This month, Oracle's Tony Darnell joins us to give us a look at MySQL from the viewpoint of an Oracle DBA.

Tony Darnell is a Principal Sales Consultant in Oracle's MySQL pratice.
