April 26, 2007 Lose your fear of Oracle Streams at this architectural overview and basic implementation walk-through. Learn what the Streams product is and what it can do for you. This presentation will contain an overview of Streams, the differences between Streams, AQ, Change Data Capture (CDC), and Replication. We will also walk through an actual implementation using Streams with AQ and CDC. This session will be presented by Lewis Cunningham, our own in-house Oracle ACE. Lewis is an Oracle Certified Developer who specializes in SQL, PL/SQL, and XML. He is also an author with a popular blog and a soon to be released book on EnterpriseDB, an Oracle-compatible, open source database.
