Oracle 10g Release 2

Christopher Haight, Principal Sales Consultant for Oracle, Tampa, will be presenting details on the new features of Oracle 10g Release 2. The first database designed for grid computing, now has enhancements to Real Application Clusters and Automatic Storage Management. Plus it delivers greater security and more self-management and automation for your database.

New features of R2 include:

Transparent Data Encryption
XML Query
Oracle Clusterware APIs
HTML DB enhancements
And much more.....

Refreshments will be provided by Outback Catering and we'll have lots of Oracle giveaways.

Also note that this will be a FREE meeting for any non-members that wish to check us out. Our annual dues year begins in September.
