This session is targeted at students and newcomers in the audience who might not be up to speed on many of the IT concepts, acronyms, and buzz words that they are likely to encounter over the course of the day. Chuck will be arming you with the information you need to get the most out of SOUG TechDay even if you are relatively new to the IT field.
Chuck Egerter is the President of Eagle Datagistics, an Oracle Gold Partner located in downtown St.Petersburg, focusing on high end and remote Database Services, hosting in their 'Solid Cloud', and SAN/NAS Solutions from Pillar/Oracle and XioTech. Eagle rounds that out with CDP replication technology from InMage. Eagle is a long-time sponsor of the SOUG and without Chuck's generosity, we might not even exist.
Chuck is active on the Board of Directors for the Deuces Live Mainstreet Association, as well as the Planning Committee for the Downtown TEC Garage Incubator. He lives in Conquina Key with his wife Michele and is very energetic and passionate about St. Pete. Chuck is leading efforts within IT circles to bring more IT employees and IT companies to St. Pete. He is currently working with a number of groups to focus their combined energies into connecting the Arts and IT in a uniquely St. Pete way.
